Neoprene hoses
Masterflex, super lightweight, neoprene flexible ducting hoses are ideal for varied applications. Masterflex recommends this product for air intakes, cone air filters, cold and hot air extraction, exhaust gas, dust extraction, heater hoses and numerous other applications; hence we can provide a range of ducting hoses specific to your application needs. All of our neoprene ducting hoses are internally reinforced with a steel wire helix (spiral wire), which gives these ducting hoses flexibility and a tight bend radius. But why Neoprene?
Neoprene, the first-ever successful synthetic rubber created in 1930, is one of the most multi-purpose manmade fabrics available. This synthetic versatile material, having an immense range of valuable attributes, is used in everything; Aerospace & Automotive applications, Medical Equipment to Avant-Garde Fashion.
The stretchy, lightweight, very flexible, oil and chemical resistant qualities of Neoprene make it useful for the transportation of chemical fumes, cool air through automotive air intakes and for more; where smoothbore is required for air efficient flow (such as in high-performance vehicles). An example, of such hose, is the Double layered Master-NEO 2.
Single Layer Ducting Hose, manufactured by Masterflex Technical Hoses Ltd UK, are constructed from flexible, temperature resistant black neoprene; and feature a wire helix to prevent kinking and ensure efficient airflow even where sharp bends are used. The cost-effective single-layered hoses, like the Master-NEO 1, is the perfect solution for brake ducts, heaters, ventilation and low vacuum/pressure applications in tight spaces.
Neoprene, the industry standard, is the choice when flexibility and ageing characteristics over a long period of time are required in relatively high-temperature applications.
