A customised multiple hose system made of polyurethane (PU) was integrated into a complex machine. It replaces conventional distribution systems and supplies several compressed air modules simultaneously. The flow is regulated via a central valve. The solution saves assembly work, reduces the amount of material used and enables a compact design.
Multiple hoses as an alternative to PFA hoses
The connection stability of classic hose systems can be impaired, particularly in applications with high ambient temperatures. This can lead to leaks and increased maintenance costs. In such cases, the material-locking multiple hoses developed by the Masterflex Group offer a thermally stable alternative - also as an option to PFA hoses, depending on the application.
