The standards deal with the quality management of a company and, in the case of Masterflex Gelsenkirchen, are applicable to the development, manufacture and sale of technical hoses, hose components and connections. DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 specifies general minimum requirements for a quality management system.

For the first time, the "Research and Development" department at the Gelsenkirchen site was also included in the certification audit.
