Masterflex Group cleanroom hoses for air distribution and supply applications in highly sensitive pharmaceutical and laboratory processes are synonymous with uncompromising cleanliness, precise airflows and safe extraction.
Contact Segment LeadProduct SelectionFAQ
In the pharmaceutical sector, cleanroom hoses are used in cleanroom and laboratory technology for the controlled flow of air in filling systems, isolators, sterile areas, extraction applications and ventilation systems to protect sensitive production processes from particles and contamination, or simply to supply the plant, laboratory and the people working there with fresh air. This is precisely where the Masterflex Group comes in with its sophisticated hose systems and services: in situations where air is not simply moved, but must be precisely directed, extracted, protected and integrated into sensitive processes. This results in applications that combine technical performance, hygiene standards and safe process control in laboratories, cleanrooms and pharmaceutical production environments.

Safe Masterflex Group cleanroom hoses prevent costly hazards in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. When active ingredients are transformed into precisely dosed tablets, capsules or liquid medicines in pharmaceutical production, every step of the process must be carried out with precision, in a hygienic manner and with absolute reliability. The same goes for the air supply in the factory.
This is precisely where our group’s strength lies: in intelligently designed, pharmaceutical-grade hose systems that not only convey, control or guide media, but also actively safeguard sensitive production processes. Plastic & metal

A cleanroom air duct hose is a plastic hose solution specially designed for sensitive environments such as cleanrooms, laboratories or production facilities, which is used to control the inflow and outflow of air. It is primarily used in applications where particle control, hygiene and safe process conditions are of paramount importance. The materials used may vary depending on the application.
Typical applications include filling lines, isolators, sterile areas, ventilation systems, laboratory environments and extraction points in mixing, dosing or tableting processes. This hose solution is suitable for any situation where air needs to be directed precisely or contaminated air needs to be extracted.
Masterflex Group hoses offer a high degree of flexibility during installation, can be easily integrated into complex plant structures and, depending on the model, can be designed to be resistant to various media, chemicals and temperatures. This makes them particularly well-suited to sensitive applications in laboratory and cleanroom technology.
Key factors include, amongst others, material quality, durability, flexibility, leak-tightness, ease of cleaning and suitability for the specific hygienic environment. In addition, air flow, temperature, pressure conditions and the specific process environment must be taken into account.
Depending on the application, suitable options include, for example, Master-Clip PUR, thermal insulation hoses, Master-PUR LF Trivolution, Master-Clip Neoprene or pressure-reinforced hoses. The optimal solution depends on the air flow, temperature, system layout and hygiene class. The Masterflex Group’s consultancy services are generally recommended in such cases.
Yes, many hose system solutions are suitable for both controlled air flow and extraction tasks. This is particularly important in production and laboratory areas where dust, particles or process-related emissions need to be safely captured and removed.
With the right ventilation hoses, gaseous media can be safely channelled within a temperature range of up to +200°C (Master-Clip Spark XL). Some of our ventilation hoses can also be used at higher temperatures. Our hoses are ideal for use in air-conditioning and ventilation applications (supply and extract air), as well as for extracting welding fumes.
Individual hoses from the ventilation hose range, such as the Master-Clip PUR S, are highly resistant to mechanical stresses, such as being compressed or kinked. The hose’s special construction ensures that it returns to its original shape after being deformed. These excellent recovery properties offer advantages wherever a hose is at risk of mechanical damage during day-to-day operation.
Yes, definitely! Customisation and bespoke, innovative development solutions are our speciality. As part of our engineering services, we offer you tailor-made products – or work with you to develop highly customised, innovative and cost-effective hose and connection solutions.
